Until we come to rest with our unrelenting walk towards death, we will never be at peace in the ongoing press of life.
We will always be looking for ways out of the intensity of the flow of love and life. Distractions will abound, as we try whatever we can to avoid the absolute blissful squeeze of life – television, movies, a cause, food, drink, purpose, drugs, relationship, work, sex, and rock and roll will all rear their heads in an attempt to ease the intensity life is.
Once we have come to rest with death and accepted it, we will no longer have to fight against it with our urge to numb out. All our distraction can become choice-full true pleasures of life.
